How it works

Bring one item
One item per person, so everyone gets a turn. Bring any leads, plugs, fuses or zips it may need.

Sign in and stay with your repairer
Register at reception, grab a tea, coffee or cake, then sit with a volunteer while they work on it. Watch, ask, learn.

Take it home
Fixed, or with honest advice on what to do next. There’s no charge – donations help cover our costs.

- Small electricals – lamps, toasters, vacuum cleaners, radios
- Clothing and textiles
- Bikes and toys
- Garden tools and tool sharpening
- Furniture and wooden items
- Computers and IT
- Clocks, jewellery and ceramics

What we can’t accept
- E-scooters
- Microwaves and electric blankets
- Large white goods (fridges, washing machines)
- CRT televisions and monitors
- Anything petrol-driven (mowers, strimmers, chainsaws)
- Weapons of any kind

Every session is free. Donations are gratefully received at every session and cover our costs, including tools and equipment.
