What Can You Bring?

“Almost anything portable that’s showing signs of wear and tear! Think household appliances like vacuum cleaners and lamps, personal items like clothing, bikes, and toys – our repair specialists have the know-how and tools to tackle a wide variety of repairs.

“By promoting repair over replacement, we’re helping to reduce the growing mountains of waste. It’s true, we all tend to throw away items that could easily be fixed. Repair Café is here to change that mindset and remind us that repairing is both practical and rewarding.

“More than just a repair service, we’re a place where neighbours connect and rediscover the value of community. By working together to fix a bike, a CD player, or a pair of trousers, you’ll build new friendships and appreciate the skills within our community.

“Beyond the social benefits, repairing items saves money, conserves resources, and reduces our carbon footprint. But most importantly, Repair Café aims to show you the joy and satisfaction of fixing things yourself.

“Need help cleaning or assembling something? Just bring it along, and we’ll do our best to assist you.

“We simply ask for a small donation to help cover the cost of materials and venue hire.
